Hike to Codfish Point

Hike to Codfish Point – February 16th, 2022 – Leave trailhead 10 AM (date and time may change so check back)
Named after a crew of blue-stone quarry workers were stranded for a time with nothing to eat but salted cod. There is a magnificent view of the Hudson River and beyond.
Event Duration: 4 miles round trip; about 4 hours in duration

Bring: good hiking shoes, micro-spikes or snow shoes required, dress for cold weather, lunch, snacks,, plenty to drink, map and compass (recommended),

Covid-19 Guidelines: Wear a mask while congregated in the parking lot or at other sites. Hike single file, following social distancing protocols. Avoid carpooling except with members of your household. Use your own pen when signing in, or use hand sanitizer. Note: As vaccination rates rise, risks decrease.
