We will meet at the entrance to Alder Lake and hike around Alder Lake and over a couple of hills to Beaver Meadow lean-to. It is a nice snowshoe if snow permits. The beavers are back in Alder Lake and will by their lodge on the way to the Lean-to.

From the south side of the Shavertown Bridge on SR 30, turn East towards the Barkaboom Road. Go 7.2 miles, just past Little Pond Camp Grounds. Turn Left onto Beaverkill Rd. for 1.4 miles, then turn left on Rt. 54/Alder Rd. for 2.2 miles to Alder Lake parking area (closed). Park on side of entrance road.
From Livingston Manor turn onto Beaverkill Road, 12.3 miles, bear right onto CR 54 and turn left after the bridge 2.2 miles to the Alder Lake Entrance.
