Join CMC board member Erwin Karl to explore the old rail bed through Pine Hill. There is little change in elevation making the hike moderately easy even if recent snows necessitate use of snowshoes. In addition to hiking/snowshoeing, we will stop to ID and discuss some of the edible and medicinal fungi and plants which can be found throughout the year in the forests of the Catskills.
