Hike on the Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) | Sunday July 23, 2017 8:00 am

Come discover this section of the FLT from the Downsville Covered Bridge to NYS Rte 206, with a side trip on the Trout Pond trail to Campbell Mt. Road and back. Pass Campbell Mt. Lean-to and old farm ruins near Rte 206.

Event Duration:  8.6 miles,  6 hours

Level of Difficulty:  Moderate-Difficult

Registration required by July 19.  Registration limited.  Must provide full name, email AND REACHABLE phone to register. Hike leader has limited email after Friday the21st.

Meet at Campbell Mt. trail head on Rte 206 for car shuttle to Downsville

Driving Directions: From Margaretville: take NYS Rte 28 west to NYS Rte 30. Then Rte 30 west to intersection of NYS Rte 206. South on 206 approx 2 miles to trail head and parking area on the on the right. Look for DEC trail head sign.

From Roscoe: Take NYS Rte 206 north 10 miles to trail head and parking area on the on the left. Look for DEC trail head sign.

    I would love to take this hike with a small group. Unfortunately, you have chosen Sunday and an early start time to boot. Some of us still attend church on Sunday. I know this is old-fashioned but we like it that way. Perhaps I can attend a hike that is NOT scheduled on the Lord’s Day.
