We’re opening the new Palmer Hill Trail today, Saturday, June 7 at 2 PM. Join us for a brief ceremony and the inaugural hike on this new trail.  Passing through open wildflower meadows, it is a hike unlike others in the Catskills. We hope to see you there.

The trail is a partnership between the CMC and the NYC DEP, built and maintained by the CMC on recently opened DEP watershed lands. No permit is required. The Town of Andes has been a great supporter and partner in this project, too.

The trailhead parking area is at the scenic viewpoint on Finkle Rd., just off SR 28 between Andes and Margaretville.
