Monday, May 12, Noon – Palmer Hill Trails Construction Continues, Part II

The CMC will continue our work constructing the two new trails at the soon to be opened DEP’s Palmer Hill parcel. With its open terrain and spectacular views, it will be sure to please the Catskill hiker accustomed to our wooded trails.Come lend a hand to this exciting project, if you can. We will be opening the trails on National Trails Day, June 7, so we’re eager to get busy and we’ll be focussing most of our efforts here for the next several weeks.Bring work gloves, plenty of water, lunch and snacks. We’ll have a good assortment of tools to lend. No dogs due to safety concerns.
