Saturday, September 14, 10 AM - Hike to Huckleberry Point
Come out to Huckleberry Point where you can experience an amazing view of Indian Head, Plattekill Mountains and New England. This hike is a moderate 3 hour hike which takes you up an eroded road for about ¾ of a mile. Then you will have a little rock hop across the Plattekill Creek. We will then have some slight elevation gain but eventually descend to the point. The point is where we will have our lunch as we enjoy one of the most beautiful views in the Catskills along with several birds of prey riding the air currents. We will meet at the trailhead at 10AM. The group limit is 12 so please pre- register. No dogs please.
