Wednesday, September 25, 5:30PM - Beat the Wednesday Hump Day Slump Hike #3 – Shavertown Trail

Join us for a hike on the newly dedicated Shavertown Trail, including a stop at its lovely pond. The hike will depart from the parking area at the Shavertown Bridge Boat Launch entrance. The walk will start at 5:30 p.m. We will hike the approximately 1.2 miles to the viewpoint overlooking the Pepacton Reservoir. If time allows and at the group’s discretion, the hike will continue for the remainder of the trail.  Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water and a flash light. Camera optional: there are great views.Event will be canceled if it rains. Leashed dogs who get along with other dogs allowed. Turn south onto SR 30 and go 8 miles to the Shavertown Bridge Boat Launch on the left,  just after turning right onto CR 1.From SR 28 in Andes, turn south onto CR 1 and travel 8 miles to the Shavertown Bridge Boat Launch on the right.
